BlazingRed is a board advisory and fractional GTM firm working with founders of AI and technology startups. Beyond our advisory work, we also support and operate a small portfolio of consumer facing brands at an exciting early stage of growth.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and digitally savvy person to help build the social media presence and drive online marketing across two client brands. This is a brilliant fractional opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves creating content that connects with aspirational audiences, and wants real hands on experience working across distinct consumer brands.
This is not a task execution role. We want someone who brings their own ideas, creative energy, and genuine enthusiasm. Both brands are at an exciting early stage and you will have real input into how they look, sound, and grow online.
The Brands You Will Work On
You will be the fractional social media voice for two distinct but complementary consumer brands. Full details will be shared at interview. Both operate in the luxury and lifestyle space with affluent target audiences in the UK and internationally.
Both brands are building their social presence from the ground up, which means real creative ownership and genuine portfolio value for the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook for both brands.
- Develop a consistent visual aesthetic and tone of voice for each brand's social channels.
- Write engaging captions that reflect the luxury and aspirational positioning of each brand.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs, and build an active community.
- Research and use relevant hashtags, location tags, and trending audio for Reels and short form video.
- Monitor competitor brands and stay ahead of social media trends in the luxury lifestyle space.
Content Creation
- Source, edit, and repurpose photography and video for social posts.
- Create graphic content using Canva or similar tools for posts, stories, and highlight covers.
- Write short form blog posts and destination or category guides for the websites to support SEO.
- Assist with email newsletter content via email marketing platform to growing subscriber lists.
- Develop consistent content pillars across both brands that build audience and drive engagement.
Affiliate Marketing Support
- Help integrate and promote affiliate links through social and blog content.
- Track click through rates and help optimise which content types drive the most affiliate revenue.
- Identify new affiliate and partnership opportunities in the luxury travel and lifestyle space.
Analytics and Reporting
- Produce a simple monthly report covering follower growth, engagement rates, reach, and website referral traffic.
- Use Instagram Insights, Pinterest Analytics, and Google Analytics 4 to understand what is working.
- Make data informed recommendations on content strategy based on performance.

What We Are Looking For
We are not looking for someone with a long CV. We are looking for someone with the right energy, creativity, and genuine interest in this space.
Essential
- Genuine passion for social media and a natural eye for aesthetics, imagery, and storytelling.
- Active and knowledgeable user of Instagram and Pinterest, show us your own accounts.
- Strong written English. You will be writing captions and blog content.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently to a content calendar.
- Comfortable working fractionally across up to 16 hours per week with flexibility around your other commitments.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Some experience with Canva, Later, Buffer, or any social scheduling tool.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, InShot, or similar, phone based is absolutely fine.
- Study or coursework in marketing, communications, media, or a related subject.
- Enthusiasm for luxury travel, lifestyle brands, or consumer marketing.

Hours and rate: This role starts at up to 16 hours per week at up to £16 per hour, based on age and experience. As our portfolio of brands grows, hours are likely to increase and the role will evolve with them. Pay is reviewed after 3 months based on performance.

Hours and Working Arrangement
We are flexible. The role can be structured as:
- up to 16 hours per week, lighter commitment, ideal alongside full time study.
- up to 16 hours per week, the sweet spot for someone wanting a meaningful income alongside a course or other work.
- Entirely remote day to day with occasional catch ups as needed.
- Possibility of an internship placement if you are on a sandwich year or placement year from university.
We work on a monthly content calendar planned together at the start of each month. Beyond that, you manage your own time. We care about output and quality, not hours at a desk.
